Fun weekend outing with family and/or friends on the river. Float, cave, nature hike and enjoy the beauty of Ozark Mountain country. Remote cabin has all modern conveniences and is located minutes from I-44 Cuba exit. Cabin is top of hill above the upper Meramec River. Walk or drive down to gravel bar at bottom of hill. We have several floating companies close by that offer pick up and drop off at the front door.

The space
Beds for 10 but like to keep the group size to 8. While the house entertains well, it has high end finishes and we just don’t want it to be a party house. Log/Rock cabin built pre-civil war on the Meramec River. Follow nature trails through woods and pastures and see all kinds of wild life. Enjoy picnics and bon fires at the campground. Hike or kayak to our cold water spring that dumps 20,000 gallons daily into the Meramec River. Explore caves and caverns or walk the bluffs over the Meramec River. Can give you contact information to floating companies That include transport (depending on the number of people) and boat rental. Option of rafts, canoes, or kayaks. Three night minimum on holiday weekends.
