Positive: Holiday Home Lamore di Carla was spectacular! The Villas were spacious, charming, decorated in old Tuscan style furnishings and equipped with everything you could need. The grounds and pool were well maintained and we had a wonderful time at the pool with our children and grandchildren. The view of the Tuscan hills surrounding the property were stunning! The owners live onsite and are so very kind and responsive to any needs. We had an incredible dinner our first night that included fresh sea bass and bottles of wine made from their own vineyards, and lunch on the beautiful terrace. Florence was less than an hour drive and there are several great restaurants nearby in Greve, about a 10 minute drive from the property. Our experience there exceeded our expectations.
Negative: The only thing that I could critique is the long driveway leading up to the property, it is not paved and is pretty bumpy. By the 4th day of our stay we started to get the hang of it and learned what areas to avoid as we drove up.
Summary: Best ever vacation experience with our family!
