Beautiful Waterfront Estate in Pine Point, Scarborough, Maine with private beach, beautiful landscape, stunning views and magical sunsets. The compound boasts an acre of meticulously groomed lawn which merges into a private sandy beach and is available for combined or separate rental. We host memorable events on the property and have a wonderful professional event planner and famous Maine caterer on our team. "Summerwinds" is the larger home which was recently built and is beautifully appointed inside and out. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 ½ bathrooms, and an additional room with kitchenette on the top floor with an outside deck 40 feet up which offers indescribable views of Shorebirds, Lobster Boats, Mount Washington, and amazing sunsets! The kitchen is large and perfectly equipped for entertaining. The living room is cozy and has a fireplace, 80-inch smart television and Sonos sound system and a piano and guitar for our musically gifted guests. On the ground floor there is a handicap accessible bedroom with an outside wheelchair ramp for folks with physical challenges. There is a large bathroom with wheelchair accessibility into the shower. Support bars are located throughout this bedroom and bathroom for the safety of our guests who require these amenities. The second floor has a huge master bedroom and bathroom with an air-jet tub and large walk-in shower. A home office with high-speed wi-fi is located in the Master Suite. There are two other bedrooms on the 2nd floor with a large, shared bathroom. All rooms have individual fans, air conditioning units/heat pumps, and large smart televisions. The beds are all high-end mattresses on electronic frames for positioning and comfort. Beautiful hardwood can be found throughout the home. There is a full laundry with Electrolux washer & dryer located on the 2nd floor for your convenience. The home is meticulously clean, and the quality of the construction and finish carpentry is amazing. There is a small bar area in the large foyer with separate refrigeration and plenty of wine glasses! The grounds are golf-course quality, and the large waterfront lawn is perfect for all sorts of recreation. The beach is private, and you have access to miles of kayaking and paddleboarding or using our Puffin Dinghy to take a row out in the calm harbor at high tide. Striped Bass can be caught right in your backyard! There is plenty of on-site parking. Pine Point Beach is one of the finest beaches in Maine and the main beach is a 5-minute walk from Summerwinds. You can walk for miles on this perfect beach and dogs are allowed at certain times. The Old Eastern Railroad Trail is nearby for walking or biking. Old Orchard Beach is the next town and beach south of Pine Point and has plenty of fun and entertainment for young and old. Portland is a fantastic city with a vibrant waterfront and spectacular restaurants. The finest of Maine Seafood is ubiquitous and, in fact, an old-fashioned lobster pound is minutes away from our compound and has the best seafood and freshly caught Lobster brought to market by our local lobstermen. You can walk right down our beach and on to the working commercial pier and watch the fishing party boats and lobstermen come in with their catch. It is a quintessential Maine experience. Summerwinds Cottage is large enough for two families to share and split costs. It leases for $16,000/week during the peak season. We also have Harborwinds which is a smaller cottage on the compound and perfect for a family of 4-6. It has its own separate listing on the VRBO site. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and it is also meticulously clean and cozy. The large waterfront deck accommodates up to 30 people for small gatherings and parties. Sitting on the elevated deck only a few feet from the water and watching the sunset over a distant view of Mount Washington on the horizon is the usual evening ritual and the sights will amaze you. The colors in the sky after the sun sets, punctuated by the glow of our firepit and sounds of the seagulls and shorebirds, is a memorable experience. Harborwinds can be leased separately from Summerwinds, or as a combined compound. Events are allowed however are independent of the rental agreements and organized through our event consultant. Weddings at this venue have been absolutely magical in every way. The incoming tide, setting sun, warm summer breezes, background view of the charming Maine harbor with its colorful lobster boats and welcoming piers, all make this the perfect coastal, nautical Maine destination for weddings, family reunions, and other celebrations.
