Villa Milani was built in the 16th century and maintains intact the characteristics of the enchanting Tuscan Villas. At the beginning of the 1900s, the villa hosted the rich Milani family and it was here that the young Lorenzo Milani discovered his vocation in the small 13th century chapel dedicated to San Enrico, which can still be visited in the Borgo della Gigliola. This enlightenment led him to a conversion, thus beginning his path as a priest. Don Milani soon became the champion of the poor people and the working class by creating a school for the children of the poor. His commitment and dedication make this priest one of the most human figures of the Church.
The Villa consists of two floors. On the ground floor there are three beautiful halls with sofas, armchairs, paintings and chandeliers of rare beauty. The shared garden, equipped with chairs, table and umbrella, will make the customer enjoy wonderful moments in the warm summer evenings of Chianti.
