Summary: Overall we had a great stay. The house is older and has weathered some storms but is fairly nice and served us well. Be prepared for lots of steps, which I'm sure is the case in any large beach house. We had 2 toddlers under 2 so it was a challenge to keep them off the steps. The gate from the top deck to the outside stairs desperately need to be replaced and some of the older deck furniture needs to be replaced but overall things were in pretty good shape. The hot tub didn't get very hot and the jets were a little weak. The housekeeping was a little subpar but my wife was a housekeeper, so she is particular about that. There were 10 of us this trip and we had plenty of room and were relatively comfortable. The beds were comfortable and most of the furniture seemed in pretty good shape. The water pressure in the showers seemed a little weak but otherwise the bathrooms were adequate. It is a bit of a trek to the beach, especially when you are hauling a bunch of stuff, but the beach was great. They do provide a 2 wheel cart to help haul stuff which was a great help. There was an outdoor shower which was nice, but would have been nice to have a foot washing station. The house has seen some use but overall served us well and we had a great time.
