This is a castle, situated on a wooded rocky hill, just west of the Hessian town of Waldeck. The castle is located in the northern part of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park on the northern shore of Lake Edersee. The castle can be reached from the town via a road.
Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe near Kassel is a large Baroque-style park that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It houses the famous statue of Hercules and an impressive waterfall, and it is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.
