A very warm welcome to our beautiful cottage, a much loved family property on the Isle of Mull. Boasting 3 bedrooms, plenty of space for socialising plus flexible accommodation, this cottage makes the perfect holiday home for a group or special family gathering. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling.
As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave. There is also a boot room with a washer and a dryer, and plenty of space for any muddy boots!
Outside there is half an acre of fenced and gated grounds, with a picnic bench and parking for 3 cars. Hen harriers can be seen swooping across the fields and we have buzzards that return every year and nest in the trees! At dusk you can relax and watch the deer sneak into the fields, and the bats fly past the windows. There is wildlife a plenty for those with a keen eye.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a smart tv and internet access.
Situated between Bunessan and Fionnphort, we are a 5 min drive from the Iona Ferry. There are the most amazing beautiful white sandy beaches just a short distance away - Market Bay is our favourite and is a 45 min walk straight from the house. It is only accessable on foot, and you often have it all to yourselves. Absolutely perfect for a picnic!!
This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6.
In the first bedroom, you will find a king sized bed.
In the next bedroom, there is another king sized bed.
The third bedroom contains twin beds.
There are 2 bathrooms.
The first bathroom has a toilet, bath, sink and an over the bath shower.
The second bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. We are a 45 min drive from the ferry at Craignure.
There are numerous eateries nearby that are open in the main holiday season:
- The Bunessan Inn - serving homecooked Scottish fayre.
- The Keel Row - in Fionnphort- homecooked pub food.
- The Creel - in Fionnphort - amazing seafood and fish and chips to takeaway.
- The Lazy Cow - a lovely coffee & cake or lunch stop near Fionnphort. Sandra makes everything fresh to order and it's all amaaaazing!!
- The Reef - pizza to takeaway on set nights - check out the shop door or their Facebook page for current opening times.
Take the Ferry over to Iona and treat yourselves to lunch or an early tea at The Argyll Arms or St Columa's.
There are grocery shops in both Bunessan and Fionnphort.
