Modernity meets history! True to this motto, we completely renovated our 'Treibgut' apartment in the historic Villa Odin (built in 1905) in winter 2014/15. In order to offer our guests optimal conditions for an unforgettable vacation on Rügen, we have completely renovated the apartment, installed underfloor heating, a free-standing counter kitchen, designer floors and a small, cozy sauna. In the sauna, two people can sit comfortably in the sauna or relax with aromatherapy in mild temperatures.
In the living and dining room you will find attractive leather furniture and exclusive tables in solid walnut. Even if Rügen and Sellin in particular will not give you much space for long TV evenings during your vacation, we have the living room with a TOP TV set (Sony, 50 inches, USB recording) and a sound bar with DVD playback option and full stereo system functionality (incl. WiFi and Internet radio).
The branded kitchen with an open counter to the living area convinces with high-quality Bosch electrical appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator w. separate freezer, induction cooker, oven) and a microwave with grill. We also thought of seeming little things: there are many little helpers (including Coffee machine, egg cooker, kettle, blender), reasonable Zwilling knives, sufficient pots and pans (Rösle) and kitchen utensils. Coffee lovers will be delighted with the Nespresso coffee machine with an initial set of coffee capsules. The coffee bar with two bar stools and a beautiful view of Wilhelmstrasse invites you to plan your day with morning coffee or a relaxed chat after an eventful day.
In the large of the two bedrooms you will find a box spring bed (180 x 200 cm, from the current winner of the comparison test of the Stiftung Warentest) and a desk with sufficient sockets, which is equally suitable for cosmetics or the processing of non-deferrable emails. There is also a large TV (Sony).
We have equipped the smaller bedroom with a RUF upholstered bed (160 x 200 cm).
For the apartment there are two high-quality RDS radios with wake-up and snooze functions, which you are welcome to use according to your needs.
In addition, the apartment has a spacious winter garden (the veranda, 8 sqm), which - equipped with a recliner and a large leather stool - offers a retreat to simply let your mind wander. The relaxation bed (190 x 80 cm) can also be used for a child up to max. 14 years old (occupancy 4 adults or 2 adults plus 3 children).
In the bathroom you will find an elegant washbasin in steel enamel (ALAPE, 80 cm wide) with a wall outlet fitting, a 90 x 90 cm all-glass shower with rain shower and separate. Hand shower, towel dryer and the sauna. Various hooks, wall niches and shelves as well as the powerful hairdryer (BRAUN) help to organize the start of the day well.
Crockery and cutlery are available 8 times each, so that they do not have to be washed after every meal.
The balcony is furnished with a small table and comfortable seating. A powerful halogen spotlight ensures cozy warmth on the balcony, even on cool evenings in autumn or spring.
