Positive: We are renting on an extremely busy street where we currently live. I chose Doughery Den to have some privacy and peace and quiet and it has exceeded my expectations substantially. Not only is the accommodation private, peaceful and serene, but as a guest you have a whole garden with a bird hide where you can just sit, unplug, relax and find yourself again. We booked on the night Floris hit, but the rain on the roof of the home was like being back in South Africa with a thunderstorm soothing you to sleep. Don't think I have slept that well since we left South Africa 18 months ago.
Negative: I didn't like that we only booked one night. But we will be back for a whole lot more as there is such a lot to explore in that area that we didn't get to.
Summary: Magical, unplug and rediscover inner peace and get your creative mind going again.
