Charming, yet vibrant 1st floor of an Historic East End home by the Ohio River perfect for exploring Cincinnati. The 1st floor will sleep up to 3 people. Ruby's Retreat has gone through a nice rehab with updated kitchens and baths, but has the original wood floors for an eclectic rustic feel. The home is in a perfect spot 2 blocks away from a public boat ramp and right on a scenic bike trail that starts in downtown Cincinnati and is currently about 10 miles long. It is also a few blocks away from one of Cincinnati's finest steak houses, Jeff Ruby's Precinct. You can also take a 7 minute drive, 17 minute bus ride, or a 20 minute bike ride into the city and enjoy all the pubs, fine dining, and Breweries that make Cincinnati famous. Don't forget to see one of our fine professional or college teams play while you are here. We have the Reds, Bengals, and FC Cincinnati that are all making big splashes right now (except the Reds), or we have the UC Bearcats or Xavier Musketeers sports teams. Major concert Venues are only a few minutes away also: Riverbend Music Center, Paycor Stadium, Heritage Bank Center, The Andrew J Brady Music Center, or the Great American Ball Park. For you boaters out there, the house is also just 2 blocks away from a public boat ramp to the Ohio River. You can also catch some peak-a-view river views in the off season from the 2nd floor.
The bike trail is in it's final stage of expansion currently and will eventually extend 23 miles and encompass a route all the way from Cincinnati's Coney Island all the way to Saylor Park two more great venues on the river. It will eventually expand to meet the Little Miami Bike trail where you can bike all the way to Lake Erie.
We just can't wait to share our city with you! We can accommodate groups of up to 3 (1st floor), up to 5 (2nd floor), or up to 8 total if you rent the entire house.
