Ideally located in a conservation area in 'Old Ambleside' the cottage is very popular with returning guests appreciative of its convenient position and personal touches provided by the local owners. Enjoying a south facing aspect the cottage has full gas central heating and comprises living/dining room with rustic Lakeland Stone fireplace, coal effect gas fire and cottage style furnishings and fittings (Smart TV & DVD player) Double glazed window and door.. Door through to well equipped kitchen with breakfast area, and stairs leading down to unusually large cellar ideal for hanging outdoor gear particularly following a wet walk! The cellar also accommodates a full size table tennis table. An enclosed staircase leads upstairs to the bathroom and two bedrooms; one with super-king bed and luxurious goose down duvet and single room with 3ft bed. The bathroom serves both bedrooms and has both a bath and shower and there is an additional external loo for emergencies! An elevated patio area is located to the rear of the property providing a true sun-trap (favourable weather conditions permitting).
