Architecture & Experience - Fabricated from whitewashed CLT wood panels, the light-filled double-height space exudes a Scandinavian ambiance. Sunlight pours through large glazed doors that offer stunning views of the hills. Pops of colour enliven the softly muted yet uplifting décor through snug throws and quirky furniture. An open-plan kitchen and a cleverly folding dining table allow the main room to be both flexible and spacious.

Bedroom & Bathroom - Follow the staircase as it wraps around the stove leading up to the mezzanine floor, where an inviting kingsize bed awaits you. Drift off to sleep in ultimate comfort to soothing sounds of the crackling stove and rustling trees outside. Practicalities - The Woodshed stands secluded in a quiet glen of Pentland Hills. It’s accessed via a mile-long farm track that’s slightly bumpy but manageable for regular cars if taken slowly. Parking is available beside the cottage (max two cars). There is an EV charger available for use at Eastside (10 minutes walk or 5 mins drive away). We live just next door— and we’re happy to help should you need us but will otherwise respect your privacy. Given the property’s mile-long distance from the main road we do recommend the use of a car for your stay.
