In 1300 an imposing building with a square plan and a mighty tower was built on this strip of land (570 metres above sea level) close to Arezzo, which marked the boundary between the two Italy, those of the Longobards and Byzantines. The fascinating building of military origin, still visible in the traces of battlements and in a few slit windows, has been carefully restored and transformed into a comfortable holiday villa. Thanks to this radical renovation the villa Torre Bizantina, that rises up majestically amongst thick oak and chestnut woods, has regained the importance and allure that had been eliminated by time.
Indipendent villa with 14+2 sleeps.
First Floor: going up a typical stone staircase you access the sitting-dining room with a large fireplace, large equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms which share a bathroom with shower, bathroom with shower.
Second Floor: three double bedrooms each one with en suite bathroom with shower, bedroom with French bed.
Thirs Floor: sitting room with fireplace and double sofa bed, bathroom with shower and mezzanine with double bed. A few meters from the house there is a little house with sitting-living room, fireplace, TV and table-football.
The Villa has been comfortably and rationally furnished, for the most part with antique furniture, adding to the fascination of the house. The owner, Paola, will be happy to prepare meals for guests so that they can sample typical local cuisine.
The villa Torre Bizantina is surrounded by a large, panoramic garden full of flowers and equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and wood-burning oven. On one side of the garden, above the villa, there is a beautiful swimming pool.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE :
Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay).
Heating: Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Wood for fireplace Euro 20 each 100 kg.
Swimming towels available on request on payment of Euro 3 each.
Small size pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
It is not possible to charge electric cars at the house, but at the charging stations located a few kilometers away.
Tourist tax Euro 3 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
Payment by bank transfer:
a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount will be requested upon confirmation of the booking.
Payment of the balance is required no later than 45 days before the start of the stay.
Cancellation policy:
-30% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 45 days before the stay.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 44th day and the day of arrival, and in case of No Show.
