Enjoying a waterfront location with their own private mooring, these distinctive dockland styled apartments each boasts its own decked balcony overlooking the waterside, perfect for relaxation, soaking up the sun and watching the boating activity. The properties have the added benefit of a motor day launch free of charge (maximum of 8 passengers) available all year, except during the Whitsun (end of May) and Summer School holidays, which can be moored outside the property. However day boats can still be hired during these dates at preferential hire rates, direct from the owner. Not only are these properties close to the river but the owner has access to other parts of the river frontage so if guests have a valid fishing licence and bring their own equipment, they can fish easily nearby.
The properties are situated in Wroxham, which is well known as the ‘Capital of the Broads’ and has a selection of cafes, restaurants and shops within a few minutes’ walk. The wider area is also criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. One of the best ways to enjoy the Broads is on the water by motor launch, or take one of the organised day trips arranged by the neighbouring boatyard. On the water, the beauty of the Broads can be truly experienced with its extensive wildlife (ducks, geese, swans, spoonbills and herons) and its sleepy Broads villages with their pretty flint cottages and attractive churches.
The coast is within easy reach (12 miles) with lovely sandy beaches and a string of villages spreading northwards to the bustling sea towns of Cromer and Sheringham. Alternatively, Norwich is less than 10 miles away with its cathedral, castle, museums, theatres, excellent shops and restaurants. National Trust properties well worth a visit are Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, both within easy reach. Nearest shops are 500 yards. Moorings for motor launches are outside the property and life jackets are available free of charge. Pet life jackets available on arrival for a refundable £10 deposit.
