The harbour has a small sandy beach and there is a bar, restaurant, children’s play park and small local shop.
Anstruther is within walking distance, with its working harbour, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and you can enjoy fish and chips from the award-winning restaurant. Home to the Scottish Fisheries Museum, there are boat trips from the harbour to the Isle of May, where there is the world renowned bird sanctuary and nature reserve, famous for puffins and seals.
The Fife Coastal Path runs through the village, with historic castles, pretty fishing villages and many beautiful beaches and coves along the way. The ancient university town of St Andrews is 9 miles away, famous for its golf courses. Other golf courses close by include Anstruther, 1 mile, Crail and Kings Barns, both 5 miles.
