Two surf shops provide water-based entertainment with tuition and hire, a great way to spend a day before the evening sets in for that al fresco dinner on the terrace of Porhellik. Locally, you will find Tehidy Country Park, a large wooded estate perfect for walks and cycling, with bike hire close by. Golf, horse riding, surfing and kayaking are all available nearby. A little further west, a short drive along a beautiful coastal road will bring you to St Ives, home to galleries, beaches, shops and restaurants. Beach ½ mile. Shop and pub serving food ½ mile.
