The Boat House (ref UKC1617) is a detached barn, nestled within the owner’s grounds, neighbouring to their home and Rose Cottage, making it great for families and friends wishing to retain their independence but wanting to be close together. It boasts spacious accommodation all on one level, with a wood burner and a private enclosed courtyard garden.
The traditional seaside town of Cromer is 4 miles away, with its sandy beaches, promenade, pier, cafés, pubs and shops, and the Cromer carnival which is held in August. The popular seaside resorts of Mundesley and Sheringham, 7½ miles, provide a perfect seaside day out. The cottages are also close to several National Trust sites, including Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park. The Saltmarsh RSPB bird and nature reserve, being a natural habitat for bird and wildlife, offers great birdwatching opportunities. If you wish to venture further afield, why not head to Wells-next-the-Sea, 22 miles away, where you can admire its picturesque quay, or drive to the city of Norwich, 20 miles, and enjoy the cathedral, castle museum, theatre, fine dining, cafés and pubs, whilst spending that well deserved time with your loved ones.
