This lavish lodge sits on a fantastic 7-acre site in the heart of the Norfolk countryside in the small village of South Raynham. With beautiful walking trails right from your doorstep, you’ll be able to enjoy the peace of this pretty village. Just on the outskirts of the village is the 7,000-acre estate of Raynham Hall. Five miles from the property is the market town of Fakenham with its variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, a bowling alley and cinema. If you need to immerse yourself in a little culture, there are numerous stately homes nearby including Houghton Hall (7.5 miles), Holkham and Sandringham Estate, both 15 miles distant. For nature lovers, the North Norfolk coast with its beaches and nature reserves is around 20 miles away.
The property itself is spacious and boasts plenty of social spaces as well as six delightful bedrooms. The interiors are beautiful. Enter the grand hallway and find not only a sitting room with fabulous bi-fold doors leading out to the pool and comfortable seating, but also a separate dining room with room for 16, a drawing room with feature fireplace, an orangery, also with comfortable seating and doors out to the pool along with a beautiful well-equipped kitchen, breakfast room, utility room and boot room. There is also a downstairs WC. On the first floor, you’ll find the six bedrooms, three with en-suites, as well as the family bathroom. Stairs lead to the second floor with a TV/games room with large sofa, TV and table football, so there is plenty of space to please every guest.
Outside, the grounds are delightful. Guests will find 7 acres of woodland and gardens, a croquet lawn, private tennis court and swimming pool with plenty of seating and loungers, a dining area, and a BBQ area for you to all enjoy dining alfresco.
