Come close to the desert and experience original moroccan life in an oasis. Located in the valley of river Draa, surrounded by palm trees and mountains. Very basic and quiet away from the village but always full of people from different countries.
The property is a rebuilt original moroccan family property made from palm tree, clay and bamboo. Small rooms with matresses on the ground, community room and little garden inside a wall. Outside nature and camel caravans passing by.
Guests have access to a kitchen with running water, fridge and cooking possibility with gas that guests can use together with the other people around. No hot running water, shower with water from the well that can be heated up. Wifi acces from the host's hotspot when I'm around. Place to sit outside, room to play music, cards and talk to volunteering people from all over the world.
Mostly I am around to work on the farm together with other people. The place is mostly full of people (between 3 and 10) doing construction work over the day, (no loud machinery) and sleeping here too.
You can join or be on your own. You can take part in activities like walks into nature or a fire at night. It is possible to organise trips to the desert.
The ctm bus goes to Tagounite directly from Marakech, Agadir, and all other bigger cities in Morocco. From the bus station I will pick you up. No regular public transport but transport/drives easy to arrange with taxi (what's cheap in Morocco).
