Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Comfortable apartment in beautiful and quiet surroundings near Stalden. Everything seems very new and the beds were comfortable. The view from the apartment at the glacier express train going up to Stalden station is great. We took the cable car up to Gspon, and then had a beautiful walk back to the apartment. There are also several beautiful walks that you can do in the area. Communication with our host was also good. They verified if we had any issues checking in and were quick to respond to questions.

Negative: It took us a while to figure out the best route from Stalden to the apartment. Google maps doesn't know any of the walking paths and will send you via a road where cars are driving quite fast and there's not a lot of room to walk next to it. Eventually we found out that the nicest and shortest walking route just takes 15 minutes from the church in Stalden to the apartment. The apartment was fairly warm all the time, even though the maximum outside temperature was less than 25 degrees during the day while we were there. Possible because of the bakery below and all the solar panels on the roof? I could imagine that on hot days the temperature in the apartment also quickly becomes uncomfortable, since there is no airconditioning.
