Positive: The Lodge was very comfortable and, for the most part, was well appointed. The location was amazing with wonderful views. A very thoughtful welcome pack was provided.

Negative: The Lodge was missing an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer, all of which i would consider to be fairly standard these days. Permanent bad hair days and crumpled clothes did not, however, affect my overall experience at this lovely Lodge. The Lodge was, for the most part, very clean, apart from some areas of the kitchen. The fridge was not clean, and in fact, there were food items in the freezer that had been left by a previous occupant. The cutlery and cutlery drawer were also not too clean. I appreciate that it's our responsibility as customers to make sure that items of crockery and cutlery are cleaned and put away and the freezer cleared of food but these are things that should be checked before passing on to the next client. These are all very minor points and did not detract at all from my enjoyment of my holiday at the Lodge, which I considered to be excellent value for money.
