The stylish Loft Metallo is located in a quiet area on the lago Maggiore, and offers many comforts, including radiant heating and modern air conditioning. The Loft used to be a refuge and place of inspiration for a metalwork artist. From the assigned free parking, a brief lighted corridor will take you to the front door, encased in a shatterproof privacy glass and wood wall. The first floor has an open plan design and two double panes full-wall windows that provide beautiful lighting and are equipped with automatic shades for privacy. The Loft's first floor features also a spacious living-dining room, a breakfast nook with pink granite table, a well equipped kitchen and a small bathroom with shower. A contemporary staircase in metal and wood brings you to the loft space and to the second floor, under beautiful classic arches and metal columns with granite capitels. The loft internal balcony has space for relaxation and reading, an entartainment center including a smart tv and blueray dvd player and a comfortable sofa bed. A brief corridor leads you to the second full bathroom, the ample master bedroom and the second bedroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fully appointed with freshly laundered linens and towels and situated in a quiet corner for better sleep. Exiting the apartment and taking outside elevator (or stairs, if you feel full of energy. We use them often) lead to the rooftop terrace, with a splendid view of Lago Maggiore. The rooftop terrace space, facing the lake in front, is equipped with a metal table, bench, chairs, loungers and umbrella, and is the ideal spot for an aperitivo and dinner or simply relaxing and stargazing. A large lake-view pool is located across the street from the loft and in summer is accessible for a small fee. Loft Metallo is a pleasant 25 minutes walk on the pedestrian via Selasca or a 5 minutes drive from downtown Intra and the lake ferries. which will take you to the famous Lago Maggiore Islands, to the other towns around the lake and all the way to Switzerland. Intra-Verbania is a lovely little town, very much alive all year long and full of cafes boutiques, restaurants and delicious gelaterie and bakeries. In summer and during the holidays there are artistic, musical, cultural and other entertaining events every day in the small cities around the lake. It is possible to walk or bike along the lake from Intra to Pallanza to Suna, it is a lovely way to exercise or just take a stroll. There are several beautiful villas to visit, Villa Giulia, Villa San Remigio and Villa Taranto, with gorgeous flowered landscapes. The nature is beautiful, and sport activities are available, from the nearby the Parco of Val Grande to the sailing and swimming in the lake. Day excursions include: a brief train ride to Milan (the design, cultural and business center of Italy) the monastery of Santa Caterina, the Mottarone mountain, the lovely lago d'Orte, the Alessi outlet and the National Park of Valgrande.
