Positive: It is self catering accommodation . The location is quiet and convenient for local amenities and places to visit. The cottage is tastefully furnished in a style befitting its original purpose. The bed and the sitting room furniture are very comfortable and contribute to a lovely relaxing holiday. All the crockery and kitchen equipment are of a high quality and there are several items such as cooking oil, condiments, tea bags and washing up supplies to get the holiday off to a good start.

Negative: There are a couple of drawbacks for those with mobility difficulties. There are two slightly awkward steps at the entrance to the property. The shower lacks a safety grab rail which is vital to make it possible for older or disabled visitors to use the shower. These difficulties need to be explained in the accommodation information on booking sites. Both of these things affected our enjoyment of the holiday accommodation. Information about how to use the TV and the siting of things such as the cooker master switch could avoid difficulties for guests.

Summary: A beautiful cottage with furniture and furnishings above the standard usually found in holiday lets.
