Positive: Very nice and spacious house. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable.

Negative: Do not book this property on booking.com. You can book it directly via Sykes cottages in which case you at least get access to an online portal where you can request various thing. On booking.com you only get automated messages from Sykes, no one reads your messages and you don’t get access to the online portal. I had to call up 5 times and wait in the line to finally just being told that there was no toddler high chair, no toys, no potty and they didn’t even know there was a cafetière at the property. Useless. It was so frustrating to get hold of anyone and created a lot of extra stress. I even called and texted the emergency number they gave and no one ever replied. Also, when I asked whether the supermarket around the corner was open (Google said it wasn’t but I wanted to know for sure given then the closest one is 50min drive), Sykes just hung up on me. I was furious. Plus when we arrived the, house was ice cold: I had just asked that same morning whether it would be warm (we arrived during a UK weather warning for snow). The house is great and we loved being there. But the booking process was just awful.
