5 minutes from Soho Farmhouse, this is a luxurious two-bed cottage set in the tranquil Oxfordshire village of Sandford St Martin. Though centuries old, the cottage has undergone full renovation, completed in April 2022.
Ground Floor
The entrance to the cottage leads into a large living room, set around a Scandinavian wood burner, with a large comfortable sofa and two armchairs. There is a smart TV.
The living room leads into the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is a brand-new shaker-style kitchen, well equipped with all the usual appliances including an oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table is compact but will comfortably sit four people.
The kitchen’s stable door leads into the cottage’s large private garden. The kitchen opens onto an outdoor dining area, complete with a Weber BBQ and bistro table – the perfect combination for summer al fresco dining! A large lawn leads to down to a picnic table at the end of the garden next to a fire pit.
The First Floor
The first floor comprises two double bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
The master bedroom is fitted with a large double bed, window seat and armchair, with a lovely wallpapered feature wall.
The second bedroom is smaller in size but has a small double bed and an armchair. A travel cot and/or children’s air bed can be supplied on request.
The bathroom has a stunning walk-in shower with a rain effect shower head enclosed by a Crittall style shower screen. Please note there is no bath.
