Summary: We stayed in the apartment over the span of two weeks in the month of augustus with four adults. The apartment is located close to Locarno, and has the luxury of a small station in the back garden. Trains do not run that often, but with good planning (or by taking the bus) you can be in Bellinzona within the span of 15 minutes, and within 30 minutes in either Locarno or Lugano. If you go by car, apart from the frequent traffic jams on the road that leads to the supermarkets and highway, everything is pretty easy to reach from here. The first impression of the apartment was that it was small, on the warm side, but clean and had almost everything we needed. The daughter of the houses was friendly and able to show us around and anwser any questions we had. Overall the positives things about the apartment were: - The overall impressions of the apartment was good, the apartment is affordable giving similar listings within the area and we enjoyed our holiday. - Eventhough the apartment is located between a regional road and a train line we weren't disturbed by the noise. Our more negative experiences were - In the listing it states that the availability and use of a washing machine is included. When we arrived at the apartment it was apparent that the washing machine was shared with the owner, and the use of it was limited to once per week. After some discussions, the owner agreed that we could use it as often as needed, however, be aware of this. - In the month of august the apartment was quite warm, even when the windows and shades had been closed for the entire day. Fans were made available, however opening the windows proved a bit problematic due to the presence of mosquitoes. - The oven and refrigerator were starting to show their age. - The beds are less suitable for long people. - It might be a bit crammed for the 7 person limit in the listing.
