Moving through the property, you will discover a brightly decorated open-plan living room, boasting a well-equipped kitchen, a formal dining area and a comfortable sitting room. From here, you can open up the patio doors to the cottage's enclosed garden, boasting a spacious lawned area, perfect for letting the dogs stretch their legs and a patio area, complete with a BBQ. For local amenities, you are a mere 15-minute walk to the Holt Lodge which plays hosts to a bar and a restaurant, and the closest shop can be found within 3.2 miles. To keep you busy whilst staying here you will have access to the 18th-century family home, Erddig, which rests on a 486- hectare landscape, providing gentle walks through natural beauty. For more challenging walks, Holt is a great base for exploring Snowdonia National Park, where you can climb the tallest mountain in Wales and explore the breath-taking coastline. Alternatively, you can visit the Roman city of Chester, which plays host to a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, in addition to its famous zoo and racecourse. The small village of Holt sits on the Welsh and English boarder, sitting on the river bank of the River Dee. Within the village you will find a selection of pubs and charming shops, in addition to the ruins of Holt Castle, which dates back to 1284. Close by, is the roman city of Chester, which plays host to the famous zoo, excellent shopping and the popular racecourse.
