Summary: staying for business purposes, I always prefer an independent hotel over a 'chain'. Braid Hills is full of character, in a tremendous setting. The breakfast was outstanding value and quality! There was an issue at dinner, where the restaurant staff were at times overwhelmed. The Manager kindly addressed this to my satisfaction. It would not prevent me from returning on a weekly basis for the next 2 months.
