The absolutely perfect getaway from it all holiday accommodation suitable for 2/3 couples or a group of friends. We are situated in the beautiful South Down countryside surrounded by woodland and fields. The accommodation is in two adjoining properties. A gorgeous annexe cottage and a romantic log cabin set in a private courtyard with a private top of the range hot tub , the log cabin overlooks a small pond.
Enjoy the best of both worlds and have fun cooking and socialising together in the cottage but have your own privacy at night with a studio bedroom and attic bedroom in the cottage and another bedroom in the log cabin ensuring a peaceful undisturbed night. Please note the pretty attic bedroom has steep narrower stairs and while you can stand up in the centre of the room the pitch is lower, please see photos to ensure suitability. Both the log cabin and cottage have their own luxury shower room and TV. The cottage has a full kitchen and dining area and comfortable conservatory for the whole party to share and enjoy with wireless speaker and Wi-Fi. The log cabin has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster so that guests can enjoy a lazy breakfast on their own if they wish.
Laundry facilities in adjoining outhouse. We are a mile from Strangford Lough as the crow flies and situated in a designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) Close to the Mourne Mountains and forests. We are 5 minutes drive from the villages of Crossgar and Killyleagh which both have great pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. The small town of Downpatrick is also 5 minutes drive and offers supermarkets and larger stores. Belfast is 30 minutes drive. Dublin 2 hours.
