Arosfa Garden Cabin has been a labour of the love for the current owner who has crafted this really unique bolt hole, just a short walk to the sweeping sandy beach in Friog.
Living/bedroom area:
The cabin is constructed of wood and corrugate iron, with double glazing, driftwood style walls, and a ceiling internally, giving the cabin a very cosy feel. Every fitting including the kitchen and storage units have been hand-crafted to great effect, a real tribute to the current owner.
There is a double bed, small table, and 2 chairs, breakfast bar, feature wall heater, and for entertainment, there is a 28” Freeview TV. There is also a selection of books and guides. WIFI is connected.
Kitchenette:
A compact but well-equipped kitchen area, has all the essential cooking utensils, including a sink and drainer with a mixer tap. A breakfast bar separates the kitchenette from the main area. For preparing food there is an electric hot plate and a butane gas burner, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer box, plus an iron and ironing board.
Shower room:
With tiled floor and driftwood paneled walls, WC, pedestal wash basin, Mira Sport electric shower with tiles enclosure.
Outside:
The cabin is next to the main cottage called ‘Arosfa’ but set well to the side, so it is fairly private. It’s located off the Dolgellau to Tywyn road in the village of Friog, which is a quiet road most of the year. It is just a short walk to Fairbourne (1/2 mile) where there is a very good Indian Restaurant and beachside eatery plus a few very good local shops. There is no dedicated parking, but there are parking spaces opposite the cottage.
The cabin and cottage are set back from the road. The cabin has its own private, sunny West-facing garden to the front and side enjoying lovely views of the hills and fields with grazing sheep. There is a hand-crafted driftwood bench, a chimney, and a BBQ. Chill out and enjoy the views.
Set in The Snowdonia National Park, the villages of Friog and Fairbourne are ideally situated for watersports, cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker’s paradise with numerous walks on the doorstep. Come and explore this amazing area. Mid Wales is truly stunning and a 'well-kept secret' by discerning globe trotters.
Short breaks when available at certain times of the year: Monday- Friday 4 nights and Friday-Monday 3 nights.
Changeover day is SATURDAY where 1-week minimum applies.
