This beautifully presented detached cottage has been delightfully furnished with a calm and relaxing ambience and offers a wonderful get away from it all rural retreat and an ideal base from which to explore the fantastic scenery of this special part of Scotland. Perfect for families or couples to unwind and get away from the stresses of life, the cottage is set down a quiet lane just a short distance from the famous Glenlivet Distillery, and commands fine views over the Cromdale Hills in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. To the rear of the cottage is a lovely decking area to sit out and enjoy a drink or meal, and wonderful walks start literally from the doorstep.
With other excellent sporting activities in and around the local area, guests will be spoiled for choice. Fishing on the rivers Spey and Avon, skiing at the Lecht or Cairngorm (within an easy drive) and for keen cyclists the excellent nearby Glenlivet Mountain Bike Trails. In addition, being in the heart of the Whisky Trail, there is a plethora of distilleries in the area offering tours and tastings. Visit Carrbridge, home to the famous Landmark Centre where young and old can enjoy the various outdoor activities or, for a dramatic change in scenery, visit the beautiful Banffshire Coastline with its fabulous beaches just a short drive away. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.
